User guide
The Tunable user guide documents every screen and setting in the app, with an overview, a settings reference and an FAQ for each feature:
- Tuner, reading the display and understanding cents (settings, FAQ). Temperament, transposition and reference pitch all live here.
- Metronome, tempo, subdivisions and accents (settings, FAQ). Sounds and Ableton Link setup are in the settings page.
- Tone generator, drones and reference tones from the piano or hexagon interface (settings, FAQ).
- Sessions and recordings, recording, folders, reverb, playback speed and sharing with a teacher (settings, FAQ).
- Style and appearance, themes and display options (settings, FAQ).
Common questions
The general FAQ is the fastest place to look first. It covers no sound coming out of the app, running the tuner and metronome at the same time, using Tunable without an internet connection, restoring a purchase after reinstalling, backing up your recordings and sessions, and what to do if the app crashes.
Free tools in your browser
If you do not have the app to hand, the free online tuner and free online metronome run in any modern browser with no account and no download. The interactive circle of fifths and the wider music theory reference are free to use as well.
Purchases and refunds
Tunable is a one-time purchase on the App Store and Google Play, and those stores, not AffinityBlue, handle billing, refunds and restoring purchases. Take payment problems to the store you bought from first. If it cannot resolve things, tell us and we will do what we can.
Still stuck?
Email [email protected] and we will work with you directly. Including your device, OS version and app version saves a round trip. The contact page lists our other channels; the about page explains who we are and how the reference content here is put together.
